had a warm welcome n lots of parking which was cool. the bathroom and bedding were super clean, clearly they've put time and $$ into upgrading. there's plenty of cupboard space too. also, the charm of this grade 2 listed building is def a plus! i just needed a bed for the night n it did that perfectly.

This B&B is tucked away, offering a nice peaceful vibe, despite being next to a pub. The check-in at the pub bar was smooth, and the staff were attentive. My room on the top floor was spacious, with a good amount of natural light. The decor felt quality, really capturing that old English charm with its exposed beams. Parking was ample, and the surroundings were quiet. I faced some issues. The floorboards creaked a lot, disrupting the peace. I found no bath in my room. The cooked breakfast came at an extra cost, and although it was tasty, I wished it was included. My mother's room downstairs was properly done, but she noted a lack of toiletries which was a bit disappointing.

Had a fantastic getaway with my friends. We explored the local market and hiked nearby trails, which was amazing. The staff were super helpful and made us feel welcome. Just a heads up, breakfast is basic, so don't expect a buffet. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back for the friendly vibe.

the king room was super spacious n had all the essentials. property is realy characterful and quiet, even with the pub nearby. shower had great pressure and loads of parking available. definitely a good value for money compared to city center hotels.
the room had some dated furniture and decor. also, there was nothing like shower gel or shampoo provided for the price we paid.
